Duran Duran Release Tomorrow! Filter Updates! Elephant Boy Recap! Mindless Faith Shows!
Whew, several things going on with some of my TOP faves lately!
First off, the physical album release of Duran Duran's new album "All You Need is Now" is TOMORROW! There are several versions available in the UK and US. I pre-ordered the deluxe US version from amazon.com which is the full CD and DVD package. They have several exciting TV appearances and such going on so be sure to catch them!

I've got a few vids for ya from their recent performances in Arizona and Texas. Be sure to watch the Texas one till the end. Apparently there were massive technical difficulties so Filter only got to perform 4 songs and got a bit wild and crazy hehe.
AND some tour dates, a few are not confirmed yet, so be sure to verify and keep an eye on officialfilter.com
I am personally hoping for more east coast dates, but if not, I'm going to Jersey baby!

On St. Patty's Day, I had the pleasure of catching a rare performance by our semi-retired Fredericksburg legends, Elephant Boy. Here are a few vids I got of the show. The sound quality sucks but you can still get a feel for their famous funk.

Donde esta la musica?! A compilation of updates...
My blog has been kind of dormant lately and one main reason is my computer has been having issues. Thanks to my brother, it is running much more efficiently right now. MUMFORD AND SONS
I was very excited that Mumford and Sons got nominated for a grammy. Unfortunately they did not win Best New Artist. But their performance hopefully gained them some new fans!

I've been a Moby fan for quite some time and saw him in concert around 2001.
MINDLESS FAITH
I kind of randomly came across this band from Baltimore/DC about a week ago and was pretty blown away by them. They've been around for quite awhile and toured The Netherlands and such. I got to see them perform in Baltimore and they have another show coming up on March 31 in Richmond. They also played in LA this weekend and have an NYC date next weekend I believe.

Oh and a side note, the guys are really cool in person and I think the guitarist looks like Richard Patrick haha.
ELEPHANT BOY
Last but not least, our local semi-retired best band from Fredericksburg is supposed to be performing live at Hackers N Duffers on St. Patrick's Day! It's on Rt. 3 near Sakura's.
